These terms and conditions apply to all contracts that you enter into with Monki/ H&M Hennes&Mauritz GBC AB (hereafter “Monki” “us” or “we”). By placing an order, you accept our Terms & Conditions.
The prices listed in the Monki online shop include country specific VAT and exclude shipping fees. The shipping fees will be added to the order at the check out and will be based on the country your order is shipped to. Please find more information about our delivery charges for each country under Delivery and Shipping.
All prices are shown in € for all countries except Sweden, where prices are shown in Swedish kronor (SEK),Denmark are the prices shown i Danish krona (DKK) and the UK, where prices are shown in pounds (GBP). This applies only to customers who are having their orders sent to addresses in either Sweden,Denmark or the UK.
The contract will be concluded at the moment at which the consumer accepts the online offer of Monki and the conditions thereby stipulated have been fulfilled.
The order will not be valid if Monki cannot confirm your residential address.
Monki will immediately confirm receipt of acceptance of the offer electronically.
Monki may obtain information - within legal frameworks - about the consumer’s ability to fulfil the payment obligations, as well as about facts and factors that are important for the responsible conclusion of the distance contract. If that research gives the trader proper grounds for declining to conclude the contract, he has a right, supported by reasons, to reject an order or application or to bind its implementation to special conditions
You have the right to cancel your purchases without giving any reason within a period of 14 calendar days after the day of delivery of the goods. During this period the consumer will treat the product and its packaging with care.
During this period of 14 calendar days you have the right to cancel, which means that you are allowed to change your mind and send back the goods you have received - as far as this is reasonably possible - in the original state and packaging, without any obligations from your side, apart from the shipping fees to our warehouse in Germany. If you want to do this, you must send back the goods undamaged and unused in the way that is described under “Returns” section in our Monki online shop.
For hygienic reasons underwear, swimwear, bodies or pierced jewellery cannot be returned (faulty goods can of course be returned).
We will take the greatest of care to be as accurate as possible when receiving and dispatching your orders.
We will dispatch the orders that the company has approved as quickly as possible and in the order that they have come in. Delivery normally takes place 3-5 working days after your order has been placed. Delivery times depend on where you want your order to be delivered, though the latest within 30 days, unless a longer period of delivery has been agreed.
Please note that we only sell items that we have in stock. We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 working day hours (Monday - Friday) with the exception of sale periods where this may take up to 48 working day hours. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. Monki is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.
If a delivery suffers a delay or if the delivery cannot be dispatched or only partially due to the goods not being in stock or other reasons, the consumer will be informed about this at the latest one month after the order was placed. In this case, the consumer has a right to dissolve the contract, free of charge. In the case of dissolution in accordance with this paragraph, Monki will refund the consumer with the sum paid as quickly as possible, though at the latest within 30 days after that dissolution.
The place of delivery is deemed to be the address that the consumer makes known to Monki.
If packages are not collected, Monki reserves the right to charge €17 (SEK165, DKK 165, GBP17)for the costs we have incurred from dispatching the package. Packages that have not been collected are not normally covered by the right of cancellation.
Please note that we only ship to home or office addresses and not to P.O. boxes.

All consignments that are sent are insured by Monki. If you discover any damage to the package before you open it, you must report this to the collection point where you picked up your consignment. If you have already opened the consignment when you discover the damage, you must follow the instructions on the back of the return note that is attached to the consignment. If you have any further questions regarding your delivery, please contact Customer Service.
Damaged goods are replaced free of charge by Monki.
Payment towards online store purchases can be made with a valid card by a provider accepted by Monki.com or with a PayPal account.The total order sum will be checked and reserved against your credit/debit card or marked as pending on your PayPal account until the time of dispatch from our warehouse. Orders placed against a VISA card or MasterCard can be processed online or via the telephone. Orders placed against a PayPal account can only be processed online. We do not accept orders via email. We only accept cards with billing addresses in one of the countries that Monki.com ships to, in addition to cards registered to an address in Norway, Luxembourg or Switzerland. Please note that we cannot accept any other payment methods.
When paying by card or PayPal, Monki.com reserves the right to check the validity of the card or PayPal account, that there is enough funds to cover the purchase sum, and validate the billing address details of the purchaser. Monki.com reserves the right to deny any purchase. Your card or PayPal account will only be debited after your order has been dispatched from the warehouse. The currency used is Euro (€/EUR) for all countries except for Sweden (SEK), Denmark (DKK) and the UK (£/GBP). VAT is included in all our prices and will be updated on the online store, when you select shipping country.
Please note that all prices and product information on Monki.com are subject to change. We cannot provide information about, or guarantee item availability in our stores via the website; some garments that can be seen online are only available, or may be sold out, in select stores. If you are a customer whose card or PayPal account is not denominated in Euros (€), SEK (Swedish kronor), DKK (Danish krona) or British pounds (£), the final transaction amount will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer or PayPal processes the transaction.
VAT (or its local equivalent) is included in all our prices. VAT is based on the country the order is being shipped to.
Please note that all prices and product information on monki.com are subject to change and some garments are only available in selected stores.
In order to shop at Monki online you must be at least 18 years old.
If there are colour differences between the colours shown on the website on your computer and the actual colours of the garments, this may be due to the colour reproduction on your computer.
Monki takes responsibility for all personal details that you submit to us or which we receive from you when you register for purchases. This information is used for signing and implementing the delivery contract and for managing the customer relationship that is set up as a result, including targeted marketing activities organized by Monki, collecting outstanding payments, fighting fraud and meeting legal obligations. Monki does not pass on any information to a third party. The Head of Personal Data is responsible for the data at H&M and its subsidiaries. Monki obligations are suspended in cases of force majeure without any obligation to pay the consumer for damages in such cases.
Contracts entered into between Monki and a customer, are subject to these terms and conditions and to Swedish law only.
Monki is aware that, according to European Private Law, the consumer can always appeal against mandatory law provisions of his/her country of residence that offers more protection and rights than the applicable Swedish law. If so, please let us know and we will make a personal arrangement with you that respects these mandatory law provisions you appeal for.
Monki may modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any moment. You are therefore asked to accept only the Terms and Conditions applicable at the time of purchase with each of your orders.
All rights, including copyrights at Monki online remain with H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB and its subsidiaries. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without our permission.
