Recycle

Recycling gives unwanted or damaged clothes a new lease on life and helps minimise wastage.

Along with our partner Remondis, you can recycle your old clothes (can be any brand!) and other textiles, such as bed sheets and towels, at any Monki store, anywhere in the world! Just visit your nearest Monki store with your bags (limited to two per visit). Don’t worry about the condition of those items!

Remondis would then collect them and take them to their sorting plant where the garments and textiles are sorted into three categories — re-wear, re-use or recycle:

Re-wear: Garments or textiles in wearable condition. These are sorted as second-hand items.
Re-use: Textiles that can’t be worn anymore are turned into special products, such as cleaning cloths.
Recycle: Garments and textiles that are not suitable for reuse or re-wear. Textiles in this category will be converted into recycled fibres and non-woven fabric.
