Sell and buy fashion via our resale concept in collab with you, our Monki-community and Sellpy.

Together we can extend the lifespan of fashion. Explore handpicked second-hand gems with a Monki-energy, what’s not to love?

Pre-register your items online. Book an appointment with your local Monki store. Good 2 know: we only accept 10 pieces at a time!

Bring your items to the store. And our Monki staff will go through your submitted items and together set individual prices.

What can I bring?

Yay: Your unique seasonal on-trend pieces (so no winter clothes in summer and vice versa)! Whole and clean items that you want to pass on to another Monkifriend. Quality is key!  And no, it doesn’t have to be just Monki (even though we love it when you bring old Monki gems).

Nay: Kids clothes, real fur and clothing with inappropriate prints/messaging or cultural appropriating pieces and/or prints. We also don’t accept items in bad condition, for example with a lot of pillings, holes, loose seams, stains etc. We trust you’ll bring nothing but the best 💛

How much do I get back when selling through Monki Preloved?

40% commission for each sold piece goes to you!

What happens if my items don’t sell?

We’ll keep your items for 5 weeks. If they don’t sell, we’ll either hold on to them for 7 days for you to pick up (if you wish), or, we’ll send the unsold items to our partner Remondis who’ll re-use, re-make or recycle them for you. In that way, your Preloved clothing can come to great use, over and over again!

Will Preloved be available in other Monki shops?

Upcoming markets are Denmark, Norway, and Austria! Our goal is to roll out the concept in more stores and markets in the near future. Keep your eyes open for more info and new locations by signing up to our newsletter.

Where are the items coming from?

All items in our Preloved area are either carefully chosen pieces from Sellpy or you, our style experts within the Monki community.

Are you accepting other brands than Monki?

Of course, we’ll accept other brands and vintage pieces! We know you have great style, and as long as the items are inspiring, trending and in good condition – don’t hesitate to bring them in!

How many items can I sell at a time?

You can book one time slot (30 minutes) per week and bring a maximum of 10 pieces to your appointment.

How and when do I get paid?

When we’ve sold your item(s), you’ll receive payment on the first week of the following month to your registered IBAN number. 

Can I return resale items?

Unfortunately, we don’t accept returns. But why not try to sell it again if you no longer use it?

Why reuse, why not recycle?

Today, only 1% of the textiles out there can be recycled into new clothes. While technical solutions on a bigger scale aren’t available yet, Monki wants to be a part of the work for a more sustainable world of fashion. So instead of just waiting for those solutions to come into place, we believe in reusing the clothes that are out there, extending the lifespan.
