How long have you been working at Monki?
I started my journey with Monki in May 2010 when Monki first arrived in Helsinki, Finland. I got a job as an Assistant Store Manager, shortly after that I became the Store Manager and I worked in that role in both Helsinki and Hamburg. In April 2017 I got my dream job as an Area HR in Berlin working with Germany, UK and Austria and I couldn’t be happier! I get to work with our amazing store teams in different countries. It’s so inspiring and rewarding.
What’s your favourite thing about working at Monki?
Like everyone says when you ask - the people. Monki is the most fun and inspiring company with its people, both in stores and in the offices. We live and breathe our Monki DNA – brave, fun, empowering and friendly. These are not just words, these are what we are every day towards each other, our customers and in our goals. I also appreciate the fact that with hard work, an open mind and the right focus you can progress in the company. Monki is growing fast and new job opportunities arise all the time.
