Who is Amelia Have?
Personally, I’m an alien imprisoned in a skin suit.

Professionally, I have a project leader background - I’ve been nerding enterprising leadership for three years and practiced it even longer. I have applied my skills and abilities within the fields of activism from age of 15. My work has mainly been centered around combatting sexualised violence.

In order to carry out that work, I’ve been working both individually and through NGOs, both outside parliament as well as inside. One of the results I’m proudest of, is having been one of the driving forces in changing the legislative definition of rape in Denmark.

How do you express yourself?
Mainly through non verbal communication. My body language and face mimicry reveal everything. I believe that's why I do not consider myself a great model.

I don’t express myself through clothing, as many do, when working in fashion. I’m not a fashionista, more a nudista. The less clothing the better.

What gives you confidence?
When I take on a new task and execute it well.

When do you feel most at home with urself?
When I am excited about the future. I know this doesn’t tap into the “power of now” discourse. I’ve always dealt with heavy depressions - so when I am excited about the future, it implies that I am excited about staying alive and curious about what the future holds.

What do you love most about your body?
That's an interesting question, right? What would we love most about our bodies, if we hadn’t been told what an ideal body should look like and be able to do?

I would probably like my elbows the most. Honestly, can we talk about how dope elbows are? What a concept.

In reality, influenced by body ideals, I would probably go with my strength, my tits and tastebuds. And my feet. I’ve been told by the foot feetish internet, that I have incredibly beautiful feet.

How do you nurture your body and mind?
I stimulate my mind by basic things like reading, listening to podcasts, debating with peers and writing.

To stimulate my body, I weightlift, sleep an excessive amount, have sex - with myself or others -, hug my friends & eat a ridiculous amount of butter chicken from my favourite takeaway place.

Where do you get inspiration and power from?
In short: from iconic, difficult women. I’m lucky to be surrounded by quite a few.

When you have a day at home with urself, what’s your fave thing to do?
I am a textbook Taurus. I just want a big bed in an aesthetically pleasing space.
Fresh flowers, candle lights, crisp bed sheets, wine, butter chicken and my vibrator.
