#8 The over-dye
Faded black? Too light? No worries babe, just over-dye your jeans to give ‘em a little make over. Ideal for black jeans that you want to get back to black. Light jeans that you’d like to see with a shade of wow! The over-dye is a Jeanious Hack that adds a little fun to any laundry day.
You will need
- Dye: here you can have a lot of fun. Dye your black jeans black again, a light pair of jeans pink or whatever shade you like.
- Jeans: original denim jeans work best, i.e. Monki 100% organic cotton jeans, without stretch. We’ve used Monki Yoko jeans.
Step 1: Dye them
We chose a dye that we could use directly in the washing machine. Please follow the instructions on the packet for the best result.
Step 2: Be patient
Line dry to be kind to the environment.
Step 3: Wear them
Refreshed and re-dyed, your jeans are ready to be worn. Jeanious.
